The rapid rise of the so-called "Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)" and the ideas and practices they adopt have sparked hot debates and controversy. While the declared goal of ISIL is to establish an Islamic State, the violations committed under this claim are so serious and anti-Islam that they damage the image of Islam rather than promote it. Unfortunately, due to the injustice, corruption and oppression prevalent in the world, scores of Muslim youth and new Muslims are vulnerable to the ISIL propaganda.
